"Bullying and the Equality Act"

Training > Schools > Teachers

Disabled and SEN children are ten times more likely to be bullied than their peers. The Disability Equality Duty requires schools to take steps to eliminate harrassment of disabled pupils.

This course trains heads, teachers, and SENCOs in the duties the EA and DED places on schools in this area. The extensive handbook provided with the course offers ideas that you can implement in your school to help make it a happier and safer place for your disabled and SEN pupils.
